4. Draw simple pictures of the following animals with two characteristics of each:

fish, bird, earthworm, snake, butterfly, frog, cow, hydra, ameoba.

Fish:

  • Gills for breathing in water
  • Scales to protect their body


Bird:

  • Powerful legs for jumping and swimming


Cow:

  • Four-chambered stomach for digesting tough plants
  • Milk-producing udder for nursing their young


Hydra:

  • Regenerative ability to regrow lost body parts
  • Tentacles with stinging cells to catch prey


Amoeba:

  • Unicellular, composed of only one cell
  • Pseudopodia, or "false feet," to move and engulf food.
